Thread bank

The Sacred Thread Foundation is happy to announce that a thread bank for artisan women will be held in the Suruekat community.

One of the reasons why women stop performing crafts is because of the high cost of transport to Riohacha to get the materials to weave. With the creation of the Bank of Threads, the artisans of the community can save the money and time that the transfer to the city and invest in their families.
